A Pre-Admission Content Test (PACT) can be used for admission to an alternative certification or post-baccalaureate educator preparation program (EPP). TExES tests taken through the PACT approval route are currently the same tests used for certification and can be used for enrollment in an EPP through January 26, 2020.  Applicants enrolling in a preparation program that requires a PACT exam beginning January 27, 2020, must complete a passing score on the appropriate TX PACT Test Chart new content certification examination (TX PACT) that corresponds with each certificate area.
